ECLD Conference Terms and Conditions

• Registration

  Humanitix is the sole authorised source for purchasing Event tickets. If you obtain your ticket(s) from any other unauthorised source, you take on the risks of those tickets turning out to be counterfeit or reported to be stolen. The issuer has the right to dishonour such stolen/counterfeit tickets and declare them as void. 

  Once registration is paid a confirmation email and tax invoice will be issued unless payment by credit card. 

  All payments must be paid in full prior to the Event. 

• Cancellation & Refunds

  You accept that Child Australia reserves the right to cancel or vary the Event and refuse your attendance at the Event for any reason. 

  Should you be unable to attend the event due to unforeseen circumstances prior to 4 April 2024, please email ecld@childasutralia.org.au and we will: 

  • Transfer your ticket(s) to your nominated substitute(s) at no extra cost OR 
  • Provide you with a refund for the full registration fee of your ticket(s). 

  There will be no transfers or refunds provided for requests received from date stated on the ticketing page.

  If the Event is cancelled in its entirety due to COVID-19 or else, we will issue you a refund for the full registration fee for each ticket you have purchased. 

  If state or territory borders are closed as a result of COVID-19 preventing you from attending the Event, we will issue you a refund for the full registration fee for your ticket.

• Travel & Accommodation

  You are responsible for all travel and accommodation costs incurred to you as a result of your attendance at the Event. 

  You are also responsible for checking with your travel and accommodation providers to confirm their cancellation and refund polices.

• Privacy Information

  All information collected about you during registration is for the administration and conduct of the Event. Your personal information will be disclosed to Child Australia by Eventbrite Australia in connection with the management of the Event. 

  On occasion, Child Australia may use your information for future promotions to you of the Event. The contact details of registered delegates will be placed on an attendee list which may be passed to event sponsors. Delegates who do not consent for their information to be shared with event sponsors will be required to notify us of this in writing prior to the event. 

  You grant Child Australia the right to use your name, image, video/audio recording and likeness for the purpose of marketing activities including advertising, media publicity, publication, general display or for any other purposes in whole or in part, including but not limited to publication on internet websites, social media, broadcasts and any other publications as released to or by Child Australia. 

  You give permission for no fee or remuneration for the use of your name, statements, voice or picture in any form of media in any context related to the Event or otherwise during or after the Event. 

  It is your responsibility to email ecld@childaustralia.org.au prior to the Event if you do not wish to be photographed and/or recorded.
