About the Service
Wagaman OSHC works with the Wagaman Primary School management team and parent & family committees to deliver a program that best suits the school’s vision for their students.
We provide school aged children with a supportive, caring and friendly environment where they can engage in educational, challenging, fun, age-appropriate activities that develop their lifelong skills and knowledge.
Whether you need the service every day because of work commitments, once in a while for an appointment or even if you’re running late because your car broke down – we are here for you and your children.
-
Wagaman OSHC is committed to ensuring that children are cared for in a welcoming, stimulating, safe environment that is sensitive to cultural diversity and inclusive of all families.
The practices and procedures of our programs have been developed in consultation with educators, management, children, and families with the aim of supporting the learning, growth, and development of all children in our care.
We believe children should be encouraged and supported to make their own decisions and choices to enhance their problem-solving skill, and to extend their life skills and develop dispositions towards citizenship.
We believe to provide school age care learning environment, where educators can collaborate with children to provide play and leisure opportunities that are meaningful to children and support their wellbeing, learning and development.
We believe that children’s developmental experiences are enhanced by the provision of opportunities for fun, freedom, choice, individuality, new experiences, challenges, and happy memories.
-
Our Vacation care program operates throughout the school holidays and offers exciting incursions and excursions.
The basis of our Vacation Care service is for the children to enjoy their holiday. We offer children opportunities to play and learn at their own pace, engage in experiences of interest, enjoy a new adventure and be challenged.
For more information please see the program published on our Facebook page 1 month prior to each vacation care period.
