About the Service
Our service offers the Anula community After School Care and Vacation Care for children aged 5 to 12.
Child Australia Anula OSHC is committed to providing quality care and educational practice to the children and families of our Anula Community.
We encourage children to think about OSHC as an extension to family and feel welcome and comfortable. Our environment allows children to create their own safe play spaces while developing a strong sense of belonging and identity; encouraging friendships and sharing. Through play and allocation of tasks educators are able to strengthen and develop the child, bringing out the best in all of their abilities.
We believe that every child should be provided with a warm, caring and nurturing environment.
We value children as individuals and encourage their diverse strengths, healthy respect for difference and equality, in turn promoting anti-bias and inclusion for all.
We believe in providing a stimulating and challenging environment that excites and motivates children’s sense of wonder and curiosity.
Anula OSHC is managed as a partnership between Anula Primary School and Child Australia.
At Child Australia, children’s safety, wellbeing and dignity guide our decisions and practice.
We understand that families need to feel confident that early learning and care environments are safe, respectful and carefully supported. That trust is built through consistent action, strong safeguards, and a culture where concerns are listened to and acted on.
Our child safety approach includes required screening and suitability checks for team members, including Working With Children Checks, reference checks and mandatory training. We align our policies, practices and everyday expectations with the National Quality Standards and the National Principles for Child Safe Organisations.
We also know that child safety depends on people feeling confident to speak up and act. Through our See It. Stop It. Say It initiative, employees are supported to recognise behaviours or situations that may not meet professional or child safe expectations, take appropriate action, and report concerns promptly through the right channels.
Every team member has a responsibility to uphold professional boundaries, follow child safety requirements, and contribute to environments where children are protected, respected and heard.
When concerns are raised, we take them seriously, respond with care, and act in line with our legal, regulatory and child safety obligations.
Child safety is not a statement or a compliance exercise. It is an ongoing responsibility that guides our culture, our decisions and the way we care for every child.

Our Vacation care program operates throughout the school holidays and offers exciting incursions and excursions.
The basis of our Vacation Care service is for the children to enjoy their holiday. We offer children opportunities to play and learn at their own pace, engage in experiences of interest, enjoy a new adventure and be challenged.
For more information please see the program published on our Facebook page 1 month prior to each vacation care period.
