ECEC Support: Empowering Regional Services WA
Child Australia welcomes the State Government’s commitment to enhancing Not for Profit Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) services across regional Western Australia.
About the Program
As part of a $2.9 million government investment, Child Australia has successfully secured funding for a new initiative ECEC Support: Empowering Regional Services WA, a coordinated support model program designed to strengthen and enhance regional services.
With a focus on addressing key challenges faced by services in regional WA, Child Australia will provide opportunities for professional development, upskilling, mentoring, committee governance support and more throughout the regions of Great Southern, Peel, Southwest and the Wheatbelt.
Objectives of the Program
Through the “ECEC Support: Empowering Regional Services WA” model, Child Australia aims to ensure the sustainability of regional services, strengthen the capacity of local sector professionals, and foster the growth and viability of ECEC services in the focus regions.
Ultimately, this will enhance the quality and accessibility of ECEC services, ensuring more children have access to high-quality early learning in the regions.
