About the series

A collaboration with Neurominded

Neurodivergent educators are a vital part of the early learning sector, bringing creativity, deep thinking, empathy and unique perspectives into their work every day. Yet, many also navigate environments that are not always designed with their needs in mind.

This short video series has been created to raise awareness, build understanding, and provide practical support for neurodivergent educators and the teams they work within.

Through the collection of short, accessible videos, we explore the lived experiences of neurodivergent adults in education, while offering simple strategies that can be applied in everyday practice.

Each short video introduces a key concept in a simple and practical way, making it easy to watch, reflect on and apply within your setting.

Why This Series Matters

Supporting neurodivergent educators is not optional. It is essential for building inclusive, sustainable and healthy workplaces.

Many neurodivergent individuals are drawn to the education sector, yet there remains a significant gap in understanding, language and support. This can lead to misunderstanding, overwhelm and burnout.

This series aims to bridge that gap by:

  • Increasing awareness of how neurodivergence presents in adults
  • Challenging common misconceptions
  • Providing practical strategies to support communication and collaboration
  • Validating the experiences and challenges of neurodivergent educators

By strengthening understanding, we create environments where all educators feel supported, respected and able to thrive.

Partnering with Neurominded

This series is created in partnership with Neurominded.

Together, we bring both professional expertise and lived experience of being neurodivergent within the early learning sector.

This collaboration is grounded in authenticity, with a shared goal of supporting educators through practical strategies, honest conversations and meaningful insight.
