About the series
Welcome to The Happy Educator Project!
A bite-sized series designed to uplift, inspire and support early childhood educators. Each episode offers practical tips and heartfelt reflections on safeguarding one another to better safeguard children, nurturing wellbeing, building strong workplace relationships, and celebrating both the small wins and the big victories.
Whether you’re just starting out or have years of experience as an educator, this series is a gentle reminder that joy, connection and care are at the core of everything we do. And while our work centers around children, it’s important to remember the powerful impact we have on each other too. Supporting one another is not just meaningful, but also essential for creating thriving, emotionally healthy environments for everyone.
A key aim of this series is to empower educators to take ownership of the environments they work in and to intentionally set the tone for spaces that feel safe, supportive and joyful. Rather than waiting for change, educators are encouraged to lead it by fostering positivity, collaboration and emotional wellbeing in their teams. When we take charge of creating the kind of workplace we want to be part of, we not only elevate ourselves but also those around us, and ultimately, the children in our care.
This series is especially meaningful for those working in early childhood settings, where emotional and physical tasks can be both rewarding and demanding. The Happy Educator Project is here to inspire — offering simple yet effective tools, moments of thought and reflection and space to recharge. It’s a gentle reminder to reconnect with the purpose and passion that first brought you into this field, while nurturing your own emotional wellbeing along the way.
This series shines a light on the often-overlooked element in a world full of compliance and documentation: fun!
Remember, we all smile in the same language!
