Course overview

The Talking with Toddlers Online Self-paced Course illustrates that the time that toddlers spend in ‘conversation’ with their caregivers has a really important impact on their social development and learning as they grow. That’s right – the most important thing you can do to help a toddler’s learning in the future is to talk with her now. Not only that, talking together will enrich your care relationship and help you really get to know one another better. This course will teach you how to get toddlers talking, have deep and meaningful ‘play talks’, and have fun doing it. You will also develop awareness of the need to identify and support toddlers whose speech and language skills need extra support
